3. PARTICIPATION

As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following teams: UCI ProTeams of the country, foreign UCI ProTeams (max. 2), UCI continental teams, UCI cyclo-cross professional teams, national teams, regional teams and club teams. In accordance with article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, the number of cyclists per team at the start will be 6 maximum and 4 minimum. The mere fact of entering and/or participating in the event implies that each team fully accepts all the provisions laid out in these specific regulations and undertakes to respect them.

The deadline for entries is July 15, 2026. A duly completed entry form must reach the Race Secretary by e-mail: kaja.malts@gmail.com no later than this date.

4. RACE HEADQUARTERS

A list of locations of the Headquarters for each stage at the starting points and finishing points will be provided in the official program.

The final confirmation of starters, verification of licenses and distribution of race numbers and accreditation cards will take place on Thursday, August 20, at 16:00 – 18:00 in Rija VEF Hotel (Address: Brivibas gatve 199C, Riga)

The Team managers meeting, organized by article 1.2.087 of the UCI CR, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires Panel, is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, at 19:00 in Rija VEF Hotel (Address: Brivibas gatve 199C, Riga)

The Race Security briefing is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, at 18:15

5. RADIO-TOUR

Race Radio communication will be provided via the Zello application. Instructions regarding the Zello channels will be given during the Team Managers` Meeting.

6. NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Neutral support is provided by 3 (three) vehicles.

7. BONUSES

Bonuses, under Article 2.6.019, will be awarded as follows:

• Stage 1B
• Two intermediate sprints.
• 1st intermediate sprint: 3, 2, 1 points and 3 s, 2 s, 1 s. time bonuses.
• 2nd intermediate sprint: 3, 2, 1 points.
• Stages 2 and 3
• Three intermediate sprints, each awarding 3, 2, 1 points and 3, 2,1 sec. time bonuses.

• at the finish line of stage 1B : 6 s, 4 s and 2 sec. time bonuses
• at the finish line of stage 2 & 3: 10 s, 6 s and 4 sec. time bonuses

8. FINISHING TIME LIMITS

The finishing time limits are as follows:

• Stage 1B – 10%
• Stages 2 and 3 – 8%

In exceptional cases, unpredictable and of force majeure, the Commissaires Panel may extend the finishing time limits after consultation with the organizer according to the UCI CR art. 2.6.032.

9. RACE INCIDENTS IN THE LAST 3 KILOMETRES

The provisions set out in article 2.6.027 of the UCI Regulations, which apply in the event of a crash, puncture or mechanical incident past the signpost indicating three kilometres remaining to the finish, and according to which the rider or riders affected shall be credited with the time of the rider or riders in whose company he was/they were riding at the moment of the incident, will be enforced in the following stages: 1B, 2, 3.

On Stage 1A UCI Regulation 2.6.028 will apply.

For all that is not regulated under this ruling, the irrevocable decision taken by the Commissaires’ Panel in consultation with the Organisation Management shall apply.

10. CLASSIFICATIONS

The race has 5 classifications:

• General Individual Classification by time (Yellow Jersey)

The individual general classification by time is established by adding up the times recorded for the 4 stages, taking into account bonuses and penalties – Article 2.6.015 of UCI. The leading rider in the General Individual Classification by time shall wear the designed Yellow Jersey in the following stage.

The Yellow Jersey is handed over immediately after each stage at the award ceremony. The current leader may wear on the Yellow Jersey advertising of his team’s Main Sponsor (UCI CR art. 1.3.053).

• Most Competitive Rider by points (Red Jersey)

The Most Competitive Rider Classification is decided by adding together the points awarded at each intermediate sprint and each stage finish. The rider with the highest number of points, who completes the whole race, is the winner of the Most Competitive Rider and shall wear the Red Jersey.

Points are awarded as follows:

• Stage finish 1B, 2 and 3: 15 – 11 – 9 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
• Intermediate sprint 1B, 2 and 3: 3 – 2 – 1

In the event of a tie in the Most Competitive Rider Classification the riders are separated per UCI art. 2.6.017. The leader in the Most Competitive Rider Classification may wear the Red Jersey advertising of his team’s Main sponsor (UCI CR art. 1.3.053).

• Most Active Rider by intermediate sprint points (Green Jersey)

The Most Active Rider is decided by points awarded on each intermediate sprint. Points are allocated at each intermediate sprint as follows:  3 – 2 – 1 points for the first three riders.

The rider with the highest number of points, who completes the whole race, is the Most Active Rider and shall wear the Green Jersey. In the event of a tie on points in the Classification of Most Active Rider the riders are separated per UCI art. 2.6.017, except number of stage wins does not count. In case of same number of points, the following rule takes place: Number of wins in intermediate sprints; General individual classification by time.

The leader in the Classification of Most Active Rider may wear the Green Jersey advertising of his team’s Main sponsor (UCI CR art. 1.3.053).

• Best Young Rider Classification on overall time (White Jersey)

This classification is for riders born on or after 1 January 2004. The Best Young Rider is decided by adding together the time taken by eligible riders on each stage. In the event of equality of time, the leading rider will be decided in the same manner as the overall general classification on time.

The leader in the Best Young Rider Classification may wear on the White Jersey advertising of his team’s Main sponsor (UCI CR art. 1.3.053).

• Team General Classification on overall time

The General Team Classification shall be calculated on the basis of the sum of the three best individual times of each team. In the event of tie the teams are separated per UCI art. 2.6.016.

Priority of Leader`s Jerseys: Yellow – Red – Green – White.
