Starting Order: The starting order for the Team Time Trial will be decided by a random draw conducted during the Team Managers’ Meeting.
Team Time and Individual Times: For Stage 1A (Team Time Trial), the team’s official time shall be taken on the third rider crossing the finish line.
For the purpose of the Individual General Classification, all riders finishing at or ahead of the third rider of their team shall be credited with the team’s official finishing time. Riders finishing after the third rider of their team shall be credited with their individual finishing time recorded at the finish line.
The starting interval between teams shall be 3 minutes*
* The 3-minute starting interval has been approved by the UCI as an exceptional derogation from Article 2.5.008 of the UCI Regulations.
Equipment Restrictions: Only traditional bicycles and wheels are allowed. Specialized time trial equipment (bikes, handlebars, helmets) cannot be used!
